Coldburn Cottage is a former shepherd's house built from stone, sleeping four guests in the village of Coldburn near Wooler in Northumberland. The College Valley sits right on the doorstep. Guests have walked all week without using a car. The large enclosed stone-walled garden has a lawn, a stream and a BBQ ideal for long summer evenings. It's peaceful and quiet here. Genuinely so.
Inside there's a double bedroom and a twin both with vaulted ceilings and dormer windows. The downstairs bathroom has a bath and electric overhead shower.
