Coomb's Cottage is a two-bedroom stone cottage in Lowick village, Northumberland. It sleeps four guests and sits within easy reach of some of the best coastline and castles in North East England. A wood-burning stove, two leather sofas and a west-facing enclosed courtyard garden make this a genuinely comfortable base for exploring the area.

Lowick is a quiet Northumberland village with two pubs and a village shop all within walking distance. Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island of Lindisfarne and the golden beaches at Cheswick and Goswick are all a short drive away. This is proper Northumberland countryside.

The cottage has two ground-floor bedrooms a king-size room overlooking open fields and a double overlooking the courtyard. A cosy attic room with vaulted ceiling and Velux windows sleeps children or teenagers. One modern shower room with walk-in cubicle serves the property. Note: the staircase to the attic is steep and narrow.

Bamburgh Castle (8 miles), Holy Island of Lindisfarne (10 miles), Seahouses harbour for Farne Islands boat trips (12 miles) and Berwick-upon-Tweed (9 miles) are all within easy reach.
