The whole ground floor benefits from underfloor heating and a wood burning stove keeps things warm year-round.
Alnmouth village is just 15 minutes on foot. The beach with its golden sands is the same distance away. The village has pubs, restaurants, shops and an excellent golf course. The Aln Valley Railway's Greenrig halt is just one mile away with a bike rental shop at the station.
