The School House is a two-bedroom stone cottage sitting at the foot of The Cheviot in the College Valley area of Northumberland National Park. One of the most remote and peaceful spots in England, this working farm cottage sleeps four across one level with an open-plan layout. No hot tub here but you won't miss it.
College Valley issues just 12 vehicle permits per day. That means no crowds. The Northumberland National Park is also a designated Dark Sky Park stargazing here is genuinely spectacular. Wooler is 10 miles away for shops and supplies.
Inside you get a super-king bedroom and a twin bedroom both finished in calm tones. The single bathroom has a bath, shower and underfloor heating.
