Denwick itself is tiny, but Alnwick more than makes up for it with cobbled streets, shops and eateries. The wider area suits walkers, cyclists, golfers and anglers and the Heritage Coast nearby has miles of unspoilt golden sand backed by historic castles and small villages. Fancy a longer drive? The Cheviot Hills and Northumberland National Park are a short trip west.

Golf courses and fly fishing spots sit nearby for sporting guests and the Cheviot Hills offer proper walking country a short drive west.
