French doors lead from the dining area to the garden.
Alnwick Castle (3.7 miles, 8 min drive) and Alnwick Garden (3.3 miles, 7 min drive) are both worth a full day out. Dunstanburgh Castle sits on the coast 9.5 miles (17 min drive) away and Northumberland Zoo, 14.5 miles (22 min drive), makes a good family day. Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum is 4.9 miles (11 min drive) away. Alnmouth beach itself is about a mile and a half away.
The house suits families and groups of friends who want space, comfort and easy beach access without the crowds. The south-facing garden, wood burner and snug make it work whatever the weather. One dog is welcome too. Check your dates for a fantastic break in Northumberland.
