Alnwick is a brilliant base for exploring the Northumberland coast. You're within easy reach of Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island and the Farne Islands. Newcastle and Berwick are both under an hour by car. The Northumberland Heritage Coastline is easily accessible from the cottage.

Inside, the ground floor has a living and dining room with a Freeview TV, DVD player and electric woodburner. The kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Upstairs there are two bedrooms a double (4ft 6in) and a bunk bed room (3ft) plus a bathroom with bath and shower over. A single sofa bed is available downstairs for children.

Alnwick Castle (2 min walk) featured in the Harry Potter films. Alnwick Garden (5 min walk) is world-famous. Seahouses for Farne Islands boat trips is around 8 miles away (15 min). Bamburgh Castle is approximately 14 miles (20 min).
