This cottage sits in the heart of Alnwick's historic Conservation Area, a Grade II-listed Georgian home on the doorstep of the town centre. Lofty ceilings and an elegant staircase set the tone as soon as you step inside. The lounge has two large sash windows and a feature fireplace with a wood burner. Sleeping four across two king-size bedrooms, it suits a couple or a small group of friends.
Alnwick's shops, restaurants and tea rooms sit within half a mile, along with a quirky second-hand bookshop. A cosy pub is just 100 metres from the front door. The Northumberland coast is close too, with sandy beaches and fishing villages all within a short drive.

The open-plan kitchen and dining area seats four and has a fully equipped kitchen with white units. A small enclosed patio, reached through the kitchen via an original stone arch, gives a spot for morning coffee outdoors. One private parking space comes with the cottage and extra parking is available nearby.
